  • Glen North, President & CEO
    Glen is the co-owner and founder of PNP Pharmaceuticals and has over 25 years experience in the pharmaceutical/nutraceutical industry. Before establishing PNP Pharmaceuticals in 1999, Glen owned and operated a successful chain of retail vitamin stores in British Columbia. Glen’s vision and strong leadership has guided PNP Pharmaceuticals to become one of Canada’s largest and most respected contract manufacturers.
  • Tony Theng, Vice President (Finance)
    Tony joined PNP Pharmaceuticals in October 2012. He became certified as a Chartered Accountant in 2011 and remains an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC. Before joining PNP, Tony worked at KPMG LLP as an audit and accounting professional while attending the Chartered Accounting School of Business. Over the years, Tony has overseen the financial reporting and accounting duties in PNP’s manufacturing environment with his professional experience, knowledge and due diligence. He holds a Diploma in Accounting from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Finance from the University of Waterloo.
  • Alan Theng, Vice President (Operations)
    Alan has been involved with PNP Pharmaceuticals in various capacities since 2010. He is an active member of the Institute Chartered Accountants of BC. Before joining PNP, Alan began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an accounting professional before advancing into senior roles in manufacturing and investment industries. As a member of the executive team at PNP, he is responsible for planning and managing business operations and the successful execution of the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Warren Brent, General Manager
    Warren has been a important member of PNP since 2008. He has a combined 30 years of experience across both the forestry and natural health product industries. Prior to being appointed as the General Manager, Warren was a key account executive at PNP, delivering significant growth and dedicated customer service to a wide-ranging portfolio. His attention to detail and in-depth understanding of the company’s business operations make him an invaluable asset to the continued success of PNP.
  • Milos Marichic, Production Manager
    Milos joined PNP Pharmaceuticals as a Production Manager in January 2019. Milos has 5 years of experience in a GMP environment within medical devices, food and pharma industries where most recently he led the Production Department at Response Biomedical Corp for 4 years. Milos holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. His team focused leadership style, strong work ethic and great attention to details are some of the strengths he brings to PNP. In his free time Milos enjoy the great outdoors, cycling, hiking and camping with his wife and two daughters.
  • Abdul Azzam, Director of Quality & Compliance
    Abdul has over 25 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical, Natural Health Products and Food industries. His experience includes all aspects of the industry including Production, Process Improvement, QA, QC, Validation, Formulation and Regulatory Affairs. Abdul holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Master Business Administration in addition to a number of training certifications in the pharmaceutical industry including but not limited to GMPs, Formulations and Validation from recognized institutes. Abdul has regulatory knowledge of the FDA, Health Canada & EU for both Natural Health Product and Drugs. At PNP and during past experience, he led many validation projects including for Tableting, Encapsulation, Packaging and Powder Fill Equipment and Processes, Computer Systems, HVAC Systems, Compressed Air Systems, Cleaning Processes and much more. Abdul also has experience in NPN and DIN application submissions to Health Canada. Abdul is a high believer in building high quality into products through process development, robustness of processes, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Alan Urmeneta, Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager
    Alan has over 25 years experience in Nutraceutical and Pharmaceutical environments in a variety of Procurement, Materials Management and Logistics roles. Prior to PNP, Alan had previously spent 15 years at a number of leading Nutraceutical and Pharmaceutical companies including Jamieson Laboratories Ltd. Boehringer Ingelheim and Quest Vitamins. He is also experienced outside of Supply Chain as a Packaging Specialist at Jamieson Laboratories on their new projects launch team. Alan is highly knowledgeable about a wide range of raw materials and packaging specifications sourced from both Canadian and international origins. At PNP, Alan is dedicated in providing top-notch customer service and has been heavily involved in formulations for the last 3 years and the launching of new products.
  • Wendy Lin, Accounting Manager
    Wendy joined PNP in 2008 and is a Certified General Accountant (CGA). Wendy also holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Applied Mathematics from GuangZhou University, Canton, China, as well as a Finance & Management Diploma, from Langara College in Vancouver, B.C.
  • Jessica Lau, Human Resources Manager
    Jessica has over 7 years of local and International HR and business development experience in various industries. Jessica holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus in HR Management and an Advanced Diploma in HR Management from Capilano University and has been a member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources since 2009. Jessica takes pride in looking after her team while balancing the business aspects. She believes people are the foundation to an organization’s success and is always working towards creating a fun and engaging work culture, where the employees feel valued and cared for. She has a passion to develop her team and loves looking for ways to help her teammates grow. In her spare time, Jessica likes to volunteer, try out new cuisines, travel, find ways for personal development and spend time with her family and friends.
  • Milton Santos, Equipment, Process Optimization & Maintenance Manager
    Milton has more than 14 years of experience in the pharmaceuticals, automobiles, strategy consulting, and process optimization industries. He spent 10 years planning and implementing new equipment and processes with Volkswagen in Brazil, Argentina, and Germany and 4 years as a Continuous Improvement Consultant at Mercedes Benz, Avon and Bosch – where he led projects to reduce costs, increase capacity and efficiency.

    Milton is well versed in Kaizen practices, statistical analysis and mapping of processes and work methods. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Production Engineering and a Postgraduate Degree in Project Management. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration and Operations Management degree, and has completed lean manufacturing, resources allocation, and strategic management courses. In his personal time, Milton plays Roller and Ice Hockey and participates in summer and winter leagues in Vancouver.

  • Raveen Kullar, Account Executive
    Raveen has over 5 years of sales and account management experience within the Pharmaceutical and Dietary Supplement Industry. Raveen’s goal is to help his customers achieve success. Raveen works closely with various brands to understand their manufacturing requirements so that PNP can deliver with excellence.
  • Richard Hsieh, Account Executive
    Growing up in Vancouver, Richard has adapted the Vancouverite way of life – being friendly and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This ‘Vancouverite’ style of living led him to pursue his post-secondary degree in Pharmacology from McGill University. Upon obtaining his Pharmacology degree, Richard joined PNP Pharmaceuticals with three years of experience in B2B sales. His customer-oriented attitude allows him to excel in customer service and assisting customers in solving each unique problem. Richard’s goal is to help his customers grow and develop consumer trusted brands.
  • Mercede Sakiani, Account Executive
    Mercede brings 17 years of experience in B2B sales and account management in highly regulated industries. She thrives when contributing to the success and growth of customers with a customer centric approach. With a Degree in Business Administration, she uses her education and experience to better understand customer needs and strategies. On her personal time you will find her golfing the beautiful courses in BC, Biking in the summer and Skiing in the winter.
