PNP Pharmaceuticals is currently seeking for a Shift Leadhand to join our Production team.


  • 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Production Manager and Supervisor in overseeing production employee
  • Collect information from the previous shift leadhand and communicate shift summary to incoming shift leadhand
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Plan, adjust and respond to changing targets and priorities by allocating production employees with suggestions from Production Manager and Supervisor
  • Receive input from department leadhands on adjusting schedules based on downtimes or absenteeism
  • Prepare shipper stickers for Packaging Batch Record and other administrative duties as per Production Supervisor
  • Review batch paperwork for completeness and receive products into THEOS system, as needed
  • Monitor and maintain the shift attendance record. Relay any lateness or anomalies to Production Manager
  • Identify and communicate critical issues to management
  • Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, process, equipment performance and quality of product
  • Responsible for minimizing downtime related to process set-up
  • Bring concerns and suggestions to internal and external contact through good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ensure all relevant SOPs are read and followed by the team
  • Report cases of employees’ performance concerns, including but not limited to not following PNP policies, taking extended break times and finishing early
  • Report equipment malfunctions and quality deficiencies immediately
  • Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of assigned area
  • Other related duties as specified by supervisor

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Trained in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) required
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing including 5S, Kaizen and Lean Practices required
  • Have minimum of 1-year practical experience in their responsibility area
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment operation
  • Ability to read, understand and follow all SOPs
  • Ability to complete and pass all required training courses
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to lead diverse team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 25kg
