Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the planning and execution of production processes
  • Develop, standardize and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Provide update to Production Manager of the KPI status
  • Work with other departments to implement the company’s policies and goals
  • Procure and monitor the efficiency of production department including but not limited to equipment, processes and human capital
  • Focuses on developing more efficient method of producing the company’s goods
  • Facilitate process workflow and support production in improvement initiatives
  • Lead team in manner that emphasize honesty, professionalism and trust
  • Review and analyze information data and trends from the production area
  • Define issues and provide solutions to mitigate risks
  • Confident in dealing with unexpected problems and being adaptable in bringing production issues to a quick and complete resolution
  • Review employee’s performance and identify training needs
  • Putting together production reports for both managers and employees

 

Additional Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Ad hoc tasks, assignments and responsibilities to support the Production department and PNP, as assigned by Production Manager

Qualifications: 

  • University degree is required, with preference of degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or similar relevant field
  • Proven work experience in Lean Manufacturing required
  • Minimum 3 years of production supervisory or assistant manager position
  • Experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing would be an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Pro-active and takes initiatives in problem solving
  • Data analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently, under the Production Manager and as a part of Production Team
  • Knowledge of procuring materials, labor needs through the Production process
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with production personnel and other departments
  • Leadership skills, with proven ability to lead production team
  • Proven ability to work and manage diverse workforce
  • Ability to adapt in fast-changing environment and priorities
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects while under pressure
